Midye
Tava are fried mussels with a paste coat around. You can order them
on a spit or in a sandwich. They are quite greasy and they are served
with a tarator sauce. This sauce is made with yogurt, mayonnaise,
oil, walnuts, garlic and bread. In most of places where you can find
kokoreç, you can also find midye tava. We can recommend Sargun Kokoreç in Kadıköy.
