Sahlep
is
a hot beverage, which you should drink on cold winter days to warm
you. It is creamy milk, thickened with sahlep powder, which is made
of milled orchid roots. They add some sugar and cinnemon to
complement its taste. We recommend to drink it in Ali Usta in Moda. Also
you will see lots of pushcarts which are
full of sahlep in Sultanahmet.
